Zowie and Jarrad met on-line. Now I’m not talking ‘dating websites’. They both used to play games online and this is where they encountered on another. Zowie made the first move asking Jarrad if he would like to go see ‘Transformers’. “Eventually he agreed”, says Zowie.
Zowie tells us about their proposal, “Well, as I was in my final year of nursing studies & working two jobs, it was hard for me to get time off. Jarrad pleaded that I finish early on a particular Saturday and they said that was fine. We ventured up to Mt Tamborine where we went along one of the rainforest walks. When we reached the end point of the walk, Jarrad got on one knee, (capturing it all on camera) as he proposed. I was so surprised & overwhelmed at the time. It was amazing & magical.”
As a couple they have always just clicked. Establishing a friendship before the romance let Jarrad and Zowie create something special: a unique bond. This duo both have similar interests but also respect differences. (Zowie says, “Jarrad is more quite & I make up for the talking. haha.”
Such a beautiful day you two. We wish you all of life’s blessings!
