I guess you never know when serendipity will take charge. For Mandy and Ben a missed flight was the moment that changed their lives forever. Ben tells all, “We first met on a small airplane heading out to work together in Western Queensland. Amanda was the new girl on site and had my attention from the moment I saw her.” Tiffany’s Maleny | PhotographerThe Proposal: “I flew Amanda to Bali, I had many different scenarios in my head on how I was going to propose. I decided on a romantic dinner date at a traditional Indonesian restaurant (Bambu) where I had the ring waiting in a champagne glass. Once Mandy had seen it I hopped down on one knee beside the table and asked for her hand in marriage.”
“Our relationship is defined by our commitment for each other and having the same vision for our future. We continually help each other grow through our strengths and weaknesses. Pushing each other to strive for better and to never give up on our dreams.” Before the big day we asked Ben and Mandy what they were most excited about.
Ben: “Seeing Mandy in her dress, and being able to celebrate our love with everyone. I think she is going to blow me away with how stunning she is going to look in her dress, also just being able to bring our whole families together as one.”
Mandy: “Seeing Ben waiting at the end of the isle and our exchange of vows. Because he is going to look gorgeous standing there! and locking eyes with Ben helps calm me and I believe that our vows will further support our commitment to one another.”
