Wedding Photographers Sunshine Coast

I often get asked how I started photography. What inspired me? Well here is an insight into where it all began. For me a love of photography is first a love an appreciation and love of nature, second of art and always: of the subject! As Sunshine Coast wedding photographers we get to add in the love between people too.

During my youth (not so far in my memory!) I spend a lot of time outdoors and like many Aussie families we spend many holidays camping. For me Marlo in Victoria was the seascape of my youth and the rock pools that dot the the Gippsland shoreline were my playground. I found my love and interest in nature here and she has stayed with me always.

Matt Rowe Photography NatureWhen I relocated to Queensland I fell in love with the sunrise and shoreline and spend most mornings with my camera and those first rays of dawn light. A self-professed perfectionist, I HAD to capture this beauty as I saw it. And so the study and practise began…

My photography interests progressed to the wild flowers of the heathland and the amazing possibilities of macro photography until I landed where I ought to be: combining my love of light, details and people as a Sunshine Coast wedding photographer (combined with my amazing wife, Amanda, I should say as wedding photographers Sunshine Coast!).
