Together they had one gorgeous Yandina Station Wedding filled with joy, love and laughter.
The moment below (when both bridal parties are ‘cheers-ing’) happened at exactly the same time. Pretty cool, hey!?
We met in a remote indigenous community in Far North-West Queensland called Doomadgee. Kylie was in her second year teaching at the local school when Pat arrived as the new policeman in town. We were “set up” by our colleagues who placed us together at our own private table for dinner one evening.
Pat proposed the day we received the keys to our first home (which was also our three year anniversary!). He sent Kylie out to pick up some take-away for dinner. When she returned, she was surprised to find candles leading upstairs to the master bedroom where Pat was standing ready to propose in a suit.
Love, love, love right here!
We have a love for adventure, our families, laugh often and enjoy the simple things in life- the beach, camping, and our beautiful dog, Ella.
