The BIG Questions:

Wernher’s older brother was dating a girl I worked with. Work organised a birthday dinner for the girl and Wernher came along. We had our first date 1 week later

Tell us about the proposal. We had been discussing future, weddings (although it was considered a “party/event”) for some time. We discussed wanting a winter “event” in 2019. We had planned a holiday in Europe and UK for December 2018 and there was the suggestion that an official question was planned for then. In November Wernher came back from a week away for a work event and we planned a night away. We had a beautiful afternoon sitting drinking sparkling red on the balcony and discussing future. We went to get ready for a lovely dinner and he told me that I hadn’t put on all my jewellery and handed me a wooden chest . Inside was a jewellery box with the ring. He wanted to make sure he asked when I wasn’t expected it and at a time that was not “typical”.

We love to relax, chill and watch movies. We enjoy quirky and weird moments. We are homebodies

We are excited for the reception and the party. We can’t wait to celebrate with family as most are living overseas.

We fell in love with your display photos the first moment we both saw them. Every photo we have seen since just made us love your work more.

From Matt: Thanks for having me be a part of your wedding day. You were both such fun and you deserve a wonderful future together – as I’m sure you will have! All the very best.
