Why have a second shooter for your wedding photography
Why have a second shooter for your wedding photography? A good question! A second photographer provides alternate angles, reactions and focus on the special elements of your wedding day. The benefit of having two photographers at your wedding is a range of shots, angles and moments all captured. No one can be in two places at once, but with two professionals capturing your day you are guaranteed variety and perspective.
Here at Matt Rowe Photography HQ, we offer a range of packages, two of which include a second professional photographer in the ‘bundle’. We can custom design a package for you and often people will include a second photographer. It is probably best to see the outcome via images, so feast your eyes on a few different vantage points as we see some key moments captured. More
Sian & Sam – Maleny Manor Wedding Photographer
OK, so check out this romance: Sam proposed atop a medieval castle in Porto Venere near the Cinque Terre, Italy. Afterwards he gave Sian a lock to lock to a gate outside a church overlooking the ocean at Porto Venere, the purpose being to make a wish. It was very romantic. When Sian and Sam returned to their accommodation, Sam had organised a romantic dinner in another medieval castle that had a restaurant and looked over the ocean. I KNOW! Pretty darn special, guys! Sunshine Coast Love Shoot
Meet Elissa and Mark. In love. Lovely. Getting married.
Beautiful couples images with a uniquely Coastal Backdrop create a truly romantic vibe. Elissa’s choice of dress couldn’t be more perfect to compliment the rocks as the day heads towards dusk and the light softens.
Yes, everyone needs to a bit of ‘Titanic’ at least once in their lives.
We took these tow love birds down to Point Cartwirght on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia to capture some moments and create some art while getting to know each other in preparation for their Flaxton Garden’s wedding next March. Pretty, don’t you think?
Planning a wedding? One of the best ways to begin to feel comfortable with the photography on the day is to have an Engagement shoot, E-shoot, Sunshine Coast Love shoot or couples shoot. However you say it it is a blast and you get beautiful images to support your day and your decision of photographer for your wedding. Ladies, this is an ideal time to have your make-up trial and see how you feel about the look in your professional wedding photos.

Beach couples photography
Beach couples photography provides a lot of scope on the Sunshine Coast. Fine Art wedding photographer, Matt Rowe Photography re-visited one of his old sea-scape haunts to photograph Maddie and Sam for their engagement shoot. Romantic images with an iconic backdrop were the result for this loved-up duo ready to tie the knot next January.
“We just LOVE the photos and are so excited for the wedding!” (We are too, Maddie!)
Maddie and Sam met four years ago in the flowery town of Toowoomba. After a move to Bris-Vegas in 2013 and a P&O cruise Sam proposed just prior to Christmas. Maddie says it was very sweet and I’m sure it was indeed!
See that – the graffiti behind. Probably didn’t need to point it out, I guess.
We just LOVE an engagement session with wonderful people. Maddie and Sam were blessed with nature in one of her divine ‘moodier’ moments and this created a pretty awesome sky for their photography. If you’re up for an hour or so of fun and special memories book in now and we will get it happening for you.
The Sunshine Coast is a dream for photography, especially dramatic wedding photography. Check out our work in our Sunshine Coast Wedding Photography Portfolio.
