Genuine and down right gorgeous are how I would describe Ben and Clea. These two were the winners of our retro styled shoot competition earlier this year and we were so pleased to photograph their real wedding.
Clea’s dress was by Maggie Sottero and Bouquet by Willow Bud.
Wedding Photography at Capriole Estate is a dream. A fine mix of beautiful furnishings and rustic charm see this wedding venue as the perfect place for those couples wishing for a mix of elegant styling and funky vintage.
You’ve got to love these Bridesmaids dresses with their gorgeous bold necklaces.
Hair by Evalyn Parsons (Taylor) and Make-up by Makeup4Brides (Erica).
Ben and Clea chose the ever-lovely Bill Scurry as their marriage celebrant and had Willow Bud design one truly sensation floral arch for their nuptials.
There are some days when that (terrible) song by Alanis Morissette comes into my head, but then I get thinking of all the creative possibilities that come with a wet wedding. Here we are talking sparkles, lights and a little drama – love it! Yes, some days it rains and if I was going to employ a cliché I’d say, “that’s when the rainbows come out”. Having just doused you with an old 80s tune, I’d rather say, that’s when we have some fun and create some magical memories. Cue the goodness (please add your own sound-track):
I love gumboots. It really doesn’t ‘have’ to be raining to don a pair of these knee-high protective beauties, but we are always glad to have some.
Mr Lee Bevington provided the tunes for this loved-up affair. He also provided the rad lighting!
Ahhh… So many dancing photos, I just can’t choose…
Ben and Clea it’s been a pleasure to get to know you and provide you with some memories of your wedding day. All the very best from us all at MRP HQ.
