Ahhh… Brendan and Louise… what a truly special day. What I love about your wedding is the plethora of emotion. The bond you share is so obviously complete as you laugh, smile and shed tears together.
(MRP)How did you meet? The Giddy Goat – a local bar in Rockhampton. I (Louise) went out with some friends and got talking to AJ (Best Man) at the bar. Wasn’t out to meet anyone but thought I was safe talking to AJ as I thought he was gay. (He was drinking from a straw and said he worked in a hair salon). Brendan walked up and although I initially thought he might be AJ’s partner, as soon as we spoke, I thought otherwise. Spent many hours that night talking and having a great time.
(MRP)How would you define your relationship? We get each other. We are the best of friends and we make each other laugh. We support and help each other, and we do it because we want to. We have the same values and enjoy spending time with each other. We love experiencing life together.
It was Christmas Eve, overlooking the ocean at Wreck Point, Cooee Bay. We sat down on the grass, enjoying the view. Brendan told me he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. He pulled the ring out of his pocket and asked ‘Will you Marry Me?’ I was silent because I was so overwhelmed and emotional, then said, ‘I don’t know what to say!’ to which Brendan replied, ‘You can start with Yes!’ Industry Credits:
