“We are after a relaxed event – no first dance or bridesmaids, with the ceremony at Sails while everyone has a champagne” = one super relaxed couple
Liz and Josh planned their Noosa Wedding from overseas to focus on the union in marriage, friends and family. As wedding photographers it was really lovely to have a little change of pace with a 5pm ceremony and a focus on the pure candid moments at Sails Restaurant in Noosa. A key element of candid wedding photography is being unobtrusive and unassuming yet in a highly observant way. Gee, could I make that sound any more complicated?! Our camera gear is top of the range Nikon and allows us to take sneaky photos without the “hello I’m a photographer in your face” flash that is sometimes seen. The product of being able to shoot in low light gives a really special grainy/ documentary feel and really adds to the photojournalistic approach required for candid wedding photography. Liz and Josh were such a happy, relaxed couple and their friends and family were an absolute joy to be around for such an important occasion. I just love that Liz wore a dress that suited her so well and looked beautifully semi-formal without the white wedding connotation. Everyone is unique with their plans and desires and that is just one element that keeps the flame alive for us.
