Buderim Falls Engagement Shoot

Rachel and Shehan

Buderim Falls Engagement Shoot – a little bit of paradise right here on the Sunshine Coast.

We are just loving the Buderim Falls for couple’s photography. With the diversity of the Falls themselves, the stream and banks, finally following the board-walk all the way to Harry’s on Buderim, there are countless places and features to photograph. Add one awesome couple and it is Game On.  Buderim Falls Engagement Sho Wedding Photographer Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer Sunshine Coast Often the best moments are captured in the unexpected times. Before a kiss. After a kiss. When your eye has that glint before you say something you know will make someone laugh. After the laugh. And of course, when you think no one is looking!  Wedding Photographer Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer Sunshine Coast Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer Matt Rowe-17 Wedding Photographer Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer Sunshine Coast So much fun, Rachel and Shehan. Different seasons make way for different locations. In the heat of summer it’s hard to get past the fresh feel of a water fall. It is here that we lay our scene for the engagement shoot of Haley and Ben.
Wedding Photographer Buderim Buderim Wedding Photographer Take Tarzan and Jane as far as you will, but guarantee that these two have got it all covered. I just love this shot – awesome people, superb light, fantastic location… pretty much a photographers dream right there!

We really feel so fortunate to be able to meet many of our couples before their day as we get to connect with them and see what creates a smile, a laugh and all of those sweet moments in between. Haley and Ben’s response:”Thank you so much, they are so special.  We’ve had amazing compliments on them, from friends and family which is directly because of Matt’s beautiful work :) Bring on the big day!”

Gorgeous love – Sunshine Coast Wedding Photography

An engagement shoot is one of the best ways to prepare for your Sunshine Coast Wedding Photography. We love them too, for many reasons (click here to find out). The highlights from this photography shoot display a whole lot of awesome!

To be honest, ‘dynamic’ was (and is) the first word I would use to describe DJ and Rana. With a real appreciation of art and culture at the foreground of their desires for their photography, we were certainly ready for a super-charged afternoon.

DJ & Rana05

I love the trust and daring of anyone who will jump (not literally) at the chance to spin on a rock beside a creek just down from a waterfall. But then again, this lets me know how far we can adventure when the BIG day comes around.

DJ & Rana07 DJ & Rana14 One of our favourite images – and a secret location we love to use for some of our Sunshine Coast wedding photography closer to the Coast – that’s as much as I’ll tell you!

DJ & Rana16

The sunset pulled all the punches as we found the first break of rain in ages. Cue cliché now! Seriously though the weather matched our couple and we were so pleased to be able to share such a dynamic and fun afternoon. After smiling at the images we created, I did receive quite the grin at a family member’s comment about my photography: “this guy is the sh*t”. Got to love a compliment, and that’s up there in my favourites!

Dreaming on horseback

Ok, so I don’t know a lot about horses. I know they are amazingly magnificent creatures. I have a feeling that our railway tracks are comparable to their behinds. But I am totally sure that they are intelligent and have been such a boon to civilisation as we know it. I like them!

Together with K J Artistry we ran a competition for a Makeover and Dream Photography shoot, and lucky for us all the gorgeous Kathryn won with her dream to take the “particularly handsome’ stallion Vegas to the catwalk (of sorts). Yandina Station became the most lovely backdrop for our dream shoot.

Fleeting and beautiful

Matt Rowe Photography

Almost about to leave after a dull morning, then the sky lit up for a brief moment. I love nature – she keeps us guessing!

Can you spot the lucky fisherman who got to share this morning with me?

Sand Sky

On another morning shoot I noticed these patterns in the sand which looked like rolling hills and wild sky.

Moon rock

A study on water

I noticed patterns forming in the water creating ribbon-like effects. It reminds me of molten metal. There was no maniputlation to this image apart from contrast and B&W conversion.

My First Love

Well apart from a girl called Sally back  in High School, my first real passion in life was (and is) Nature. In all her infinite forms she is temptress, mistress and master. She is wild and bold through landscape and subtle and intricate in the smallest and most delicate forms. My favourite time to encounter her on an intimate level is dawn and we rendezvous by the sea. It is not always peaceful, yet always dramatic.
