The lovely Ange and Dean are getting married very soon and Matt was blessed to spend the afternoon with them in a unique location with some iconic views and all the elements we love… awesome people, great light, sunsets, fluffy grass, laughter and a huge rock! More
Elissa and Mark held their elegant nuptials at Flaxton Gardens on the Sunshine Coast. Their colour palette was gorgeous natural tones with pinks and peaches in dresses and bouquets (great work, by the way, Willow Bud). We just loved hanging with these two and their super-fun bridal party.
“You are the sun in my day,
The wind in my sky,
The waves in my ocean,
And the beat in my heart.
I LOVE YOU… “
Meet Matt and Daisy. These love-birds are getting married in a fortnight and decided to have a beautiful, natural engagement shoot at Buderim’s own splendid waterfall. With Hair by Coastal Style Hair and make-up by Sally Townsend Makeup Artistry, Daisy just looked so beautiful in this natural setting. More
Kate and Steve have plans to wed offshore. In order to celebrate their love, however, they decided to have a beautiful engagement shoot right here on the Sunshine Coast. We are a little bit in love with the fun and beauty of this gorgeous couple and their naturally beautiful love shoot with Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer Matt Rowe. More
Anna and Simon are a pretty special couple who are filled with some amazingly individual and unique ideas for their upcoming December wedding. Their plans will not be revealed here, but are just so rich in symnolism, meaning and heart-felt connection to each other and their loved ones that we know we are in for a very special wedding day.
Katrina and Atilia had their engagement photos at Buderim’s beautiful Waterfall. This is such a favourite spot for us as we adore the surrounds and just know that the scenery makes a perfect backdrop for couples. More
Debbie and Jamin did the whole ‘wedding thing’ with style. Threatening rain did not dampen their spirits, rather it created magic in the sky with one of the most magical sunsets we have seen this year.
Twin Waters Golf Club played host to this special day. What works really well about this location are some of the many options within the Golf Course and also in the surrounding area. Being locals we know a number of lovely spots to shoot, and with the kind allowance of some amazing people, we have exclusive access to a number of key properties in the area.
Ok, so throw in some love from the Deluxe Kombi Service and a really fun bridal party and we created a fun little concept we are now calling “don’t hold back”.
Shopping for a Bridal Gown is probably one of the first things a newly engaged woman will plan to do. The process itself is really so much fun. Through discussion I have found that many brides end up with the first gown they actually try on (or at least within the first few). Now Debbie is creating a new little concept here by having TWO BRIDAL GOWNS! The story behind this is her own, but I just loved seeing the side-note in our logistics sheet for the day which indicated a need for a quick dress change prior to reception.
Twin Waters Wedding Photography at its finest! Thanks for having us be part of your amazing day, Debbie and Jamin. You guys are great. Cheers to your future together, no doubt it will be filled with a whole lot of fun.
Dappled light, a row boat docked on a sweet little lake, birds a-chirping and the sweetest couple you ever did see – perfect for a love shoot with Sunshine Coast Photographer, Matt Rowe Photography. Chefs by trade, Alex and Brett met while creating romantic dinners for other in love couples. While shy at first their attraction blossomed in the unlikely rush and heat of the kitchen. Alex admits that she was so excited and nervous for their first date that anxiety overtook her for the week leading up to what would be the beginning of a sweet love story. Fast-track a number of months and we see this lovely pair together on the beach. Yes this is the part where Brett drops to one knee and proposes (there is romance in this young gentleman!). To capture the connection of this lovely couple we found the perfect backdrop for love – Annabella the Wedding Chapel in Ilkley, Sunshine Coast. Quaint, intimate and truly divine, Annabella the Wedding Chapel is fast becoming a location of choice for weddings. We love a little rustic charm for a love shoot! What connects this couple is their “passion for the same things and similar views for [their] goals and dreams in life”. Alex loves Brett’s handsome yet cheeky grin, his kind and forgiving heart, his easy going views on life and his sense of humour”, which she admits she doesn’t always get, but absolutely loves. And Brett… well he just loves Alex. Completely. Truly. “In the future we look forward to sharing many wonderful memories together, building our home, creating a family and travelling until we are old.”
