Sunshine Coast Wedding photographers There is so much to love about this elegant and fun Twin Waters Novotel Wedding. Anj and Brad are two super humans who care for each-other and their fur-babies (you’ll have to check out their love shoot to see those puppies!). Without further ado, let us see these love-birds (they’re pretty darn elegant!).

Jasmyn and Matt’s Awesome Couple’s Photography

I have a bit of a crush on suspenders…

vintage couples photography Here are some facts:

  • The first suspenders can be traced to 18th century France, where they were basically strips of ribbon attached to the buttonholes of trousers.
  • Benjamin Franklin is said to have worn them — although it’s probably best not to ask how historians know that; back then, suspenders were considered an undergarment never to be seen in public.
  • In fact, visible suspenders were considered risqué as recently as 1938, when a town in Long Island, NY tried to ban gentlemen from wearing them without a coat, calling it “sartorial indecency.” The ban was later overturned after residents complained.
  • One of pop culture’s most famous hooligans, Alex DeLarge (Malcolm MacDowell), wore them in A Clockwork Orange.
  • A 1986 People magazine article recommended that “fashion-forward teens” let their suspenders hang from their waist, arguing that drooping suspenders were “very sensual.”
  • Suspenders were largely absent from people’s closets in the 1990s and early 2000s — that is, until hip-hop style icon Fonzworth Bentley popularized the preppy dandy look. Recent years have seen a fascination with early 20th century culture (think: speakeasy-themed bars, moustaches, fedoras) amongst a certain subset of people — usually young, usually in major cities — who like to dress the part.    (Source: Time Magazine)

So forgive me if it appears that Matt’s suspenders have taken the show. They are cool, yes this is true, but really we still have to give focus to this dandy couple as they prepare to wed in early October.

Aw guys… you really are such a special couple! We were looking forward to this wonderfully stunning wedding for quite some time. (You may remember Rachel and Shehan’s Engagement shoot at Buderim Falls). Wedding Photographer Noosa

Noosa Wedding Photography Noosa Wedding Photography Noosa Wedding Photography Noosa Wedding Photography Noosa Wedding Photography Some people are just so truly genuine; you know it when you meet them and watching Rachel and Shehan only confirmed this. There is something more than the cliched “sparkle” in the eye; it is like a clam but profound knowing, something so deep yet so light and happy. Ah.. to get me all philosophical must mean this union is a goody! Let us continue:

AnnaBella the Wedding Chapel Photographer

Dappled light, a row boat docked on a sweet little lake, birds a-chirping and the sweetest couple you ever did see – perfect for a love shoot with Sunshine Coast Photographer, Matt Rowe Photography. AnnaBella the wedding chapel photography AnnaBella the wedding chapel photography AnnaBella the wedding chapel photography AnnaBella the wedding chapel photography AnnaBella the wedding chapel photography Chefs by trade, Alex and Brett met while creating romantic dinners for other in love couples. While shy at first their attraction blossomed in the unlikely rush and heat of the kitchen. Alex admits that she was so excited and nervous for their first date that anxiety overtook her for the week leading up to what would be the beginning of a sweet love story. AnnaBella the wedding chapel photography AnnaBella the wedding chapel photography AnnaBella the wedding chapel photography Fast-track a number of months and we see this lovely pair together on the beach. Yes this is the part where Brett drops to one knee and proposes (there is romance in this young gentleman!). To capture the connection of this lovely couple we found the perfect backdrop for love – Annabella the Wedding Chapel in Ilkley, Sunshine Coast. Quaint, intimate and truly divine, Annabella the Wedding Chapel is fast becoming a location of choice for weddings. AnnaBella the wedding chapel photography We love a little rustic charm for a love shoot! What connects this couple is their “passion for the same things and similar views for [their] goals and dreams in life”. Alex loves Brett’s handsome yet cheeky grin, his kind and forgiving heart, his easy going views on life and his sense of humour”, which she admits she doesn’t always get, but absolutely loves. And Brett… well he just loves Alex. Completely. Truly. “In the future we look forward to sharing many wonderful memories together, building our home, creating a family and travelling until we are old.” AnnaBella the wedding chapel photography AnnaBella the wedding chapel photography Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer Matt Rowe-3 AnnaBella the wedding chapel photographer

Hinterland wedding photographer

Aiming for a calm and relaxed wedding on the Sunshine Coast, Kirstie and Caleb enlisted lots of helping hands and some sweet DIY. The result was “the most beautiful and relaxed day we can have ever hoped for”.

Maleny wedding photographer Nestled in the heart of the Hinterland is a secret location that we JUST ADORE (contact us for the ‘head’s up’). Why do we love this venue? Ah… well we actually tied the knot here ourselves, so when Kirstie and Caleb contacted us we were over the moon (I wish I could say literally because that would be pretty darn cool, but totally metaphorically over the moon).

Caleb and Kirstie have a pretty special story to tell which started five years ago and sees one special young lady venturing off into the country… their adventures are set to continue as they gear up to welcome a new person to the world in the near future.

Josh and Emma wanted a Wedding that held a party vibe rather than a truly formal affair. Their Sunshine Coast wedding day captured the essence of fun that they were after, combining love and laughter with the HILARIOUS Lynette Maguire Celebrant, their gregarious bridal party and of course the love-birds themselves. We were already beyond excited to be part of this day and then to discover that Deluxe Kombis were our travelling companions was almost too much. These little read and blue babies are divine, and for a wedding photographer who loves creativity and reflections, Matt Rowe set about with a skip in his stride.

The times we hold dear

www.mattrowephotogrphy.com.au Little people are captivating; people crowd around, they make us smile, we want to please them and protect them, and they do so much good by existing.

Time does pass quickly, too quickly most people will say.. but then, as we know, that’s all relative. With Christmas approaching I can still remember how long it used to take to arrive and how truly anticipated this special time was from a child’s perspective. The more time we spend in these special times with our special  people, the more we all benefit.

I do hate clichés and this post can really only wind up there (sorry): enjoy the presence this Christmas especially the little ones you hold dear!
